GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
For cool weather growth, start seeds indoors 5-6 weeks before the last frost. Transplant seedlings when they reach 6" tall, spaced 1-2' apart in rows 2-3' apart. For direct sowing, plant seeds 1" deep and 3" apart in full sun and rich soil 2-3 weeks before the last spring frost. For fall planting, direct sow in late July or August. Maintain water, remove weeds, and mulch to regulate soil temperature. Compost or fertilizer may be needed. Cover plants if below freezing temperatures are expected.
